I am so glad I found this site! I just popped a mint in my mouth, as I do about 10 times a day, and I sneezed. This happens like clockwork every single time I eat a mint. I have come to the conclusion that the minty-menthol like fumes somehow get into my nasal passages while having the mint in my mouth, and activates the sneezing reaction. Although, this is just speculation. I don't think I am allergic to them because I have not experienced any other allergy type symptoms. I am surprised that this is such a common occurrence with so many others!
