This is a great post. I thought I was alone in this world, although mine is not mints, it is ice cream. I sneeze ten to fifteen times in a row and then…nothing. This has been going on since I was a child. My Grandmother also sneezed uncontrollably after she was done eating….it was not only with one thing it appeared to be with everything she ate.
I have tried to pay close attention to when I catch myself sneezing and it appears to occur when I eat too much and I am really full as well as the tasty ice cream treats. My co-workers tend to laugh at me when I eat ice cream and say ‘God Bless you times 10’.
The research I have done seems to point to one thing: allergies. Have you ever had allergy testing to see if you were allergic to mints? I have not been tested myself since I don’t think it is much of concern but I would be interested to know what my allergy actually is since I can drink milk, eat cheese, etc…but no ice cream.
