Hi ebandted360, It's great you're advocating for a friend by asking questions. And now a few questions for you as bleeding from the ears can be serious... How long has your friend's ear been bleeding? Did it start bleeding following an injury? How often does this bleeding occur? Are there any other symptoms associated with the bleeding, like a fever? If I were you, I would encourage my friend to have it checked out by a doctor, especially if it's related to an injury, has lasted more than five days, is associated with pain, fever or headache and your friend is having issues with hearing.
Your friend's doctor may be able to prescribe drops, antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications.
