I am 71 years old. I was on Actonel and Fosamax for more than 15 years. After my right femur broke, I am off of Fosamax.
My surgeon studied with a doctor who proved there was a link between Fosamax and femur breaks.
Now I take Calcium with D each morning and evening. Merck is interested in profit....without the pain
associated with the femur breaks.
