Yes, condoms can and do cause irritation to the tender tissues of the vagina, mouth and anus, and a 2005 German study showed that condoms do indeed contain carcinogens. Condom use is necessitated only when a possible sexual partner is suspected of being infected with a sexually transmittable disease - but in that case - aside from sailors in foreign ports, one would probably refrain from engaging in sexual relations with them anyway! It is a fact that any regularly used product that causes irritation to the skin (tags on clothing, for example, or rubber condoms) or the tender mucous membranes can lead to various forms of cancer in the future. These are synthetically produced substances that are unnatural and foreign to our bodies. In fact, some individuals develop severe allergic reactions to condoms almost immediately - in the rest of us, the reactions may take years to finally work their mischief. The only condoms that do not contain carcinogens are those naturally made from sheep's intestines. Using a rubber condom may help one elude infection from a sexually transmissible disease short term, but we must consider the very extreme danger that exists from long term use which leads to either deadly cervical cancer or ovarian cancer. Any physician who tells people otherwise is either irresponsibly ignorant or deliberately dense.
