I am astonished at the number of ingredient lists on products that have HFCS, especially those which also list one or more other forms of sugar. And often in products that shouldn't need that much sugar, such as bread or frozen meals.
Just this paragraph alone is enough to make me think twice:
"In 2000, the intake of added sugars for the average American was two and a half times that recommended by the Dietary Guidelines, and nearly half of the added sugars came from high fructose corn syrup."
That amazes me. Thanks so very much for your research.
