There have been times when I have had a family member in the hospital for cancer or a heart condition, the outcome of which was scary and unknown. I used to look outside at the world, traffic flowing, people walking, going about their everyday lives, and be envious of all those who were in their daily routines instead of in the hospital worried for a loved one.
Your perspective is different. You live in both worlds. You are part of the population living their everyday routine AND part of the population fighting serious illness.
