I think the term band aid baby is a good one and as we all know, it does not work. Is there a good time to have a baby? Yes and no. I think that if you plan to have a baby with your partner you are emotionally and maybe even financially ready, but that will not prepare you for the sleepless nights, change in life, and all the other stuff that goes along, especially changes in your body.
As I sit here and right this, I know all that goes into having a baby and I am still excited and able to say that I am ready for all the changes. They will be a lot, but worth it all the same.
