I have trigonitis diagnosed 8 years ago. These things can help:
First make sure you do not have an infection. If you do take a full course and then try
Dilatation
Drinking gallons of water
Keeping bowels open
BUT mainly diet: avoid concentrated fruit juice / tomato juice
Carbonated drinks
White wine and champagne
Yeast products especially bread
You need to do this for a good length of time for it to take effect
Medication I have had cystostat through a catheter which helped slightly
Also I take Amytriptilene 4 at night. This does make you sleepy at first but your body gets used to it and it numbs the discomfort. Put one in your mouth and you will see the effect it has.
Try not to get stressed as this makes things work. Good luck
