"Annonymous from the Midwest here again - haven't posted since soon after 2nd pellet injections & I'm here to say I'll NEVER do the pellets again! I began bleeding in September after missing one prometrium pill. Nothing made it stop & after a month of going through 4-6 tampons per day & daily cramping I had a D&C. Then I bled for a week from that with cramps, then for one whole week I was fine. Then I accidently missed a pill again & the bleeding/cramps began. I doubled up on the prometrium to no avail so cut back to the normal dosage about 3 days ago. Suddenly today I'm bleeding worse - have daily cramps. Called the doc & they just don't have an answer. They said it should stop when the hormones are finally out of my system...another 2 months! I'm miserable. They did halve my testosterone at my 2nd insertion but unfortunately testosterone is like a psychedlic drug for me. My brain has been focused on sex, sex, sex & I spend money on clothes, cds, etc to try to compensate for the sex drive. It led me to seek out a relationship (was just fine being alone before the pellets) & lucky me, I found a man near my age (I'm 59) who of course is impotent & nothing is helping him. I just want this nightmare to end. This will be 8 months of my fading life span that I'll never get back. I think this stuff works better for younger women who are in perimenopause
