I to have had migraines since I was 35 and was put on estrogen patches but they did not help much. I later learned that the patch should be changed after 3 days not after 4 as recommended on the package, since the estrogen starts getting depleted before 4 days. My best remedy was a doctor who recommended 0.5 mg estradiol tablets, one a day to help even out the pellets. As you can see some people get all the hormones within a certain time. I run lower after about 6 weeks, but I do get the migraine at different times of the month now. I use to get it during my period so the patch didn't help. Also the prometrium can cause headaches, check side effects. Good luck. Hope you can get this solved. I was also told that testerone at a higher dose helps with headaches. I have not found that to be true. Dr. Andrew Weil a Harvard graduate and MD who believes in integrative medicine of mind, body, spirit doesn't like hormones and even claimed in my last Prevention magazine it could cause breast cancer. I think my head is spinning sometimes from all the info. Jan
