Hi , 19 year old female here (20 in 3 months) .. I've been experienced similar issues , two months ago I went into hospital with chest pain ,shortness of breath and random tachycardia ( fast heart rate ) on admition my heart rate was during in the high 120s standing still and once in emergency I experienced an episide when my heart went from 80 BMP to 158 BMP in 10 seconds and I almost passed out , long story short after a week in hospital and a few tests they discharged me with no findinings ( I was told nothing was acute and that my chest pains were most likely muscle issues) and requests for clinic appointments and more tests , after waiting a month and getting no news of appointments i was thinking of seeking advice elsewhere , Id started to feel a bit better I'd had the same continuous symptoms for weeks but then they started to lessen ... Then I had another episode , I decided to get help though a go from then I've had a stress test ( to which they gave me no exercise restrictions ) a 24h halter monitor ( which said my heart got between 42 and 148 , the 148 happened at 7 am when I was asleep ) a blood test ( that showed that I was low in iron and had a viral infection , I'd had a virus around the same time) and an echo ( ultrasound on the heart) ( which said I had developed a slightly enlarged part of the heart and pressure in one of the valves ) my doctor said not to be worried but to attempt to collect my promised clinic appointment with the hospital cardiologist , my symptoms have changed , I have extreme fatigue at random times , not so many high heart rates but the feeling like its an uneven beat or its missing beats or it's too low ,Iv had palpitations and the sensation of a fluttery heart , I have a pressure on my chest at the left side about two inches below by sholder/ collar bone and on the left middle of my chest between my brests and I've had left Brest pain left back/ sholder pain , feeling of a build up in my chest to the point I have to sit up and put my head between my legs , lightheadedness , arm pain , stomach pains like cramps , headaches and feeling like I have a cold ( blocked nose sometimes a sore throat a headache ) ,shortness of breath.. I haven't been able to sleep the past few days for fear that my heart will fail while I sleep , I should note while I had my virus about 3 weeks ago I quit smoking because I felt so sick , I was a 10-20 a day smoker so some symptoms might be coming from that , I've had anxiety and panic attacks before and this us different ... Has anyone else had any if these symptoms or anything similar , what was the end result? - red
