Ahh, thanks! I occasionally take an herbal supplement for colon cleansing (for only 1 week) and find I feel a whole lot better after the regimen. When I was in college and traveling frequently, I would do a cleanse by taking citrate of magnesium. It wasn't fun, and definitely had to be done a few days in advance of the trip (to allow time for my system to settle down). But, I found that rather drastic, even though it did help prep my body for long, overseas travel.
I'll have to ask my gastroenterologist if colon hydrotherapy is an option for me.
