Here is my latest update on my 10=21=14 flu shot. Saw the ortho doctor on 1-19=15. The MRI shows the bone is bruised and the bursa is inflamed. Still having trouble with them agreeing this is from the flu shot. Still getting comments like it could be a coincidence. Although he did say if the needle was too long or they were incompetent it could happen. Started physical therapy the next day. Finished my last round of prednisone this week so I am hoping it doesn't flare back up as it has after the other two rounds I took. The ortho doctor and the physical therapist said due to bone bruise it could take a total of 6 months or more to heal. At this point in time, I would be happy if that is true. The pain is better and I can use my arm but I would like to return to my normal active life I had BEFORE the flu shot. I did complete the adverse reaction form on line just in case.
