I've been making comments here about my wife's difficulty after receiving a B-12 injection last February 2010. Like so many others here, it's been a long and frustrating journey. After much research and talking with various medical professionals, (some who seem clueless and others with more knowledge) I believe her particular pain is being caused by nerve damage caused by an improperly placed injection.
A new, as of last week, development has surfaced in terms of finding "fault" for the medical costs. The company she works for is a very large international company. Our health insurance is provided by her company. We aren't quite sure what triggered the letter she received, but..... it's a letter from our insurance company investigating the cause of all her medical bills because they want to find out if another party (the company giving the actual injection) may be liable for payment of the medical costs. We aren't sure where this will go but I will post a follow-up. Unfortunately, my wife is still in continued pain, has trouble getting dressed and doing her hair in the morning, etc., just like so many others who I know are going through the same unrelenting ordeal.
