Both of my pinkie toenails have ben like this for as long as I can remember. I'm almost 21 and I can remember them from elementary school. I don't recall any toe trauma (i think I would've remembered BOTH toes). I thought it was a fungus but slut of people say toe fungus is yellow. I'm african american and I see it in most of my family and alot of my friends. I see it consistently in african americans (men are worse). Its this really something that can be cured by a doctor or is this just a long standing ancestral trait that will last forever?
P.S.
My son (4) had regular toenails, but I can see the discoloration and thickness starting in his pinkie toes already.
