I am a 64 year old male and have had this lesion for at least 10 years but now only just discovered what the mark on my lip is called. My GP did not seem to take much notice but my dentist was concerned in case it could be cancerous. It has not caused me any problem although other people notice it but do not usually comment. I don't think I will do anything about trying to get it removed.
