I have had a venous lake on my lip for 10 years. It got bigger and more noticeable and I decided to have it removed. I was referred to a plastic surgeon and had surgery 3 days ago. I finally had to courage to look into the mirror today and I'm alarmed at the result. He hasn't removed the stitches yet but it looks awful. I wish I had sought out a dermatologist who utilizes the laser treatment. The plastic surgeon said it was too big for laser treatment but he doesn't utilize laser in his practice. Has anyone else gone the surgery route and what were your results?
