I had one on my lower lip and had it removed seven years ago. My specialist cauterized it, I had a tiny scab for a couple of days and then it left just a tiny little blue mark. Over the years it has started to bulge out again and so I am going to see the same specialist again. I was not interested in surgery, it sounded like a big deal going in from the back and so I rejected that option.
