This is a good one ... Every year, my husband and I vow to lose ten pounds and each year, we find it hard to resist the call of all of our favorite restaurants, the dinner parties where wine flows and those little treats that turn up at the office.

Because we know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, we're just going to try to eat better and be more active. We're hoping the latter will lead to the former, but this is a good way to reframe what we're trying to do and not feel so defeated when we step on the scale.

Thanks for suggesting a great re-evaluation.
