I'm so sorry you've had to deal with a sinus infection, Tina! That's the worst. Well, next to food poisoning. :) That's so interesting about the differences in dosage levels of the over the counter med. That's something that never occurred to me. I've found that whenever I've developed sinus infections rather than simply working through a cold virus and fighting it successfully on my own, it's because I'm run-down at the time I caught the cold -- either from lack of sleep or overworking, etc. In either case, cold or sinus infection, what ALWAYS helps me recover is sleep and more sleep. My doctor usually prescribes a cough syrup with codeine (Prometh VC / Codeine) that totally knocks me out, and before I know it, I'm feeling much better.
