I also have dry, unruly hair. When it's humid outside my hair threatens to turn into a frizzball. And while I have a lot of it, it's thin hair, so it can look like a mess pretty darn quickly.

One thing I do is this -- Instead of using shampoo and then conditioner every time I wash it, I often (like, every other time at least) just skip the shampoo part and go straight to the conditioner. With a good rinse my hair still gets squeaky clean but I haven't put soap in it. It seems to help it some.

The Frizz-Ease products are good. They'll help restore some of that shine you probably feel you've lost in the dryness, too.

My one favorite, cannot-live-without product is Phyto's Phytodefrisant. It is a clear gel that comes in a tube. You use a tiny amount of it -- the tube will last you half a year at least, depending on how long your hair is. Here's a link to it on drugstore.com, though I'm sure you can find it other places as well:

Let us know how it goes. I know how annoying it is to walk out of the house looking OK and an hour later feel like you're a total mess!
