A really common cause of this type of pain is plantar fasciitis. The pain with this is known for being worse when you first get on your feet, and easing up a bit as you stay on them. We have an explanation of plantar fasciitis: ttp://www.empowher.com/condition/plantar-fasciitis/definition.

There are exercises you can do to help lessen the pain, but for a diagnosis you should see a health care provider, typically an orthopaedic surgeon or podiatrist. Sometimes they will treat this with not only the stretching exercises but nighttime splinting as well.
