Hi Christina, I happened to come across this website and your post regarding belly fat after a hysterectomy, I had a total hysterectomy when I was in my 20.s I am now 55 yrs old , anyway I hear you about the belly fat, I only weigh 120, but after my hysterectomy I could never get rid of the belly, it was impossible, that is a direct cause of the hysterectomy, the Dr.s don't tell you things like that before surgery at all? they keep you in the dark about a lot of after surgeries issues, including depression. I wouldn't say my belly is fat, I would say its always a bit bloated and some days it almost looks like Im a couple months pregnant lol..., some days worse than other... it really odd, since the rest of me is petite, just could never get rid of that bloating look, I ususally don't tuck in my shirts and just wear a baggie shirt to hide it, Ive come to the conclusion theres not much that can be done about the bloating belly look, and it has nothing to do with constipation, its all related to hormones, lack there of I guess, well take care Christina you can email me back if you have any questions regarding, anything to do with estrogen/hysteectomys.., just be sure you put something familiar in the subject line in case it goes in the junk mail...good luck Christina :)
