Oh, that is so sad. I'm so sorry for your friend and her family's loss. I had never even heard of tongue cancer until one of my mom's friends was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago. She's had two surgeries, chemo and radiation and continues to fight it. I'm so glad you shared this info to increase awareness of it!
