It would be good to rule out a cardiology issue. My daughter has Mitral Valve Prolapse and this is a side effect. We didn't know she had it until she was 8 years old. She is healthy and followed by a cardiologist. She does a lot of sports too. It would be best to speak with your pediatrician and write as much data down as you can to figure out the best treatment.
