I was treated with Lupron injections to help shrink my fibroids prior to surgery. I only remember some hot flashes once or twice during the two months before surgery, and maybe some emotional instability( I was very irritable over nothing). It didn't shrink the fibroids at all. I ended up having to have abdominal surgery anyway because my largest fibroid was too large to remove vaginally.
