I had the left side of my thyroid and a mass removed in Oct 2011, and due to the pathology results, I had to have the right side removed in Feb. 2012. I am currently waitng for my thyrogen injections so I can start my radioactive iodine treatment. Im a little nervous about this whole process. However, I have felt totally NOT myself since the 1st surgery. I have a 6 month old baby boy and I work a full time job which I drive 1 hr one way too. I am exhausted all the time.. I have absolutly no energy. I feel like I need to take a nap once I get to work just to walk in the building... Will this EVER go away? What is the first steps in getting back to normal. I have never been this "lazy" feeling. Before I found out I was pregnant, I was running 3 times a week, and doing zumba. Now I cant even find the energy to put my running shoes on. HELP!!!!
