Glad I found you .. I had half my thyroid out March 7. Now I am having hot flashes every hour, freezing cold in between, extremely tired but having trouble sleeping and lots of nausea.
My thyroid test was normal two weeks ago but I swear something is going haywire inside me. I am 60 and have ben on thyroid meds for over 20 years, going from 25 mcg up to 112 now. I am getting a huge roll around my gut but not anywhere else.
I am really getting sick of myself lately.
I am also on 60 mg of cymbalta for fibromyalgia and on HRT for hot flashes. The HRT used to work before I had the surgery!
