Hi there, I had my Thyroid removed, 4/12/13 and am still having pain. I had a horrible day yesterday because I couldn't breathe. My Goiter and nodules were pressing on my Windpipe and as a result it bent the windpipe and I am wondering how long will this take to go back to normal again. Last night when I was showering I made a sudden jerk movement with my head and I had excruciating pain in my neck area.....and today I have a lot of pain and still have this lump I am swallowing against. How long does the pain remain with this type of surgery and how long will it take for the lump to disappear.. .I also have post op depression it seems like.
