My grandpa was just sent to hospice today. A month and a half ago he was in his shop building cabinets. He has COPD (emphysema), CHF. He had a pacemaker put in late last year and he has had multiple heart surgeries. The VA did not send him his Lacex (diuretic) and he did not take it for two weeks. When he went into the ER they flushed the fluid and put him into kidney failure it has been back and forth ever since. There has to be something else that can be done. Anyone? He thinks he is going to die.
