I was prescribed some antibiotics for my adult acne. I was a week into them and I got thrush (or so I thought) I got the treatment for it but 4 days later it still hadn't eased. I then read the side effects for the tablets and it listed one as extreme itchiness of the genitals and/or rectal area. (I had both) I called my doc and she told me to stop taking them. It is now 6 days on and I am still in extreme pain/burning and itching. I went to a chemist today for some help and she gave me more thrush tablets! I logged on here to see how long it will take for the antibiotics to be out of my system as I am going slowly mad. I think I will call the doc again tomorrow.
Anybody else had the same?? If so, what did you use and how long did it go on for?
