Ditto that! I attended the Institute of Medicine meeting last month where the first steps towards a new model of medicine were presented and discussed. It was an awesome Summit sponsored by the Bravewell Foundation. Dr Ornish, Dr. Oz, Dr Guarniere and many other leaders from Integrative Medicine Programs at University centers and private practices across the country were in attendance. I suggest watching a PBS video which was the preamble to what I believe will change our system of care from a disease focus model to a wellness/prevention model in the next few months. The name of the PBS video is: The New Medicine and aired in 2006. Most of those physicians in the film have played a key role in the latest Obama's announcement.
