Tonya, do you think it's possible that you are pregnant? Did you have unprotected sex around your most likely time of ovulation?
Some women do have light spotting during the early weeks of pregnancy, but it's not a typical period with all its accompanying symptoms. Was your recent period a normal one for you?
The actual act of having a period is that of the uterus shedding its lining. When pregnant, you don't do this. So since you had a couple of days of heavy flow plus some clotting, it sounds like a regular period as opposed to the spotting that might accompany a pregnancy.
Are you still vomiting, or has that ended?
Are you trying to become pregnant? Is the doctor that prescribed your medication aware of this?
