Diane,
Thank you for the welcome! I am really glad I found this website.
Not only was getting my pills thrown away stressful, but I lost my driver's license and it was never found. Fortunately I was able to get a new one once home.
And yes, I'm really sorry about the sloppy dates and just realized what a mess it is! My mind's in a frenzy lately. This morning an epiphany came to me: I kept the daily programs I received while on vacation, and I remember the day I started was the day we were at sea all day. So, I looked at the program that said, "Day at Sea," and it was June 11.
So, in May, I started the 26th (I actually remember this, wow!).
On Monday, June 8th, I did not take my pill because that's when I noticed the pack was gone. Tuesday, I received my new pack and took one pill in the afternoon and another pill in the evening. Wednesday was a normal day, and then Thursday, June 11th I started my period (it COULD have been Wednesday, I really wish I could remember, but I feel more positive about Thursday).
Soo.. I'll try to make this a little easier to understand.
End of April: Started Alesse
May 26: Started period
June 8th: Missed Monday pill
June 9th: Switched to Lessina (Starting off where I was on my Alesse pack before it was trashed)
June 11th: Period started
I continued to take Alesse, one a day, only taking two on Tuesday the 9th, when I received my pack of Lessina.
I finally came home on June 19th, and my period seemed to finally disappear on June 20th. The first day of being on that period, it was spotting, and I noticed that I had no cramps. The second day did not seem heavier, but I did have mild cramps. The third day was even less, so I thought, "Wow, only a 3-day period? What a break from my usual 6/7-day ones!" But then the fourth day and from then on it was heavy and continued to increase. That's what I remember about that long period.
I re-started Alesse on June 21st. (June 20th was the day I finished my Lessina pack)
Basically, I've had sex a lot from the time I got home to today, but I began having sex again on Monday the 22nd. From June 3rd to the 21st, I went without.
Yes, I had been home a day when my period finally ended. I also was able to pick up another prescription of Alesse and start on the first day of the pack on Sunday the 21st.
Oh! I didn't know about the two pills for two days deal. Thank you for telling me, it certainly reassures me a bit more.
Again, correct :) No unprotected sex from the end of my period to the beginning of Alesse.
I am grateful for Alesse though, it's cleared up my face and I no longer have those agonizing periods with vomitting. Do you recommend that I stop taking my pills for now? This is my 5th late day, and I'm still worried about a possible pregnancy.
This Thursday I'm taking another test, but regardless I do need to make an appointment with my doctor.
Thank you so much! I tried searching the Internet for possible answers, but nobody had my same problem and most of the replies weren't from people who really knew their stuff.
