You are 24, and must know that "sexual activity" that includes bodily fluids coming into contact with each other, as well as any type of genital-to-genital touching can lead to a chance of pregnancy. "Not having sex" is not exactly what you are doing; you are engaging in sexual activity that may not involve penetration...but his ejaculatory fluid contains semen, and if it comes into contact with your vulva or vagina, it can get inside your vagina.
Your chances of pregnancy are slim, if he is not ejaculating inside of you. There is a chance of pregnancy, however, if ejaculatory fluid is near your vagina. Have you considered using birth control pills or condoms, if there is no way that you can have a baby at this time?
You can take a home pregnancy test once you have missed your period; it is very effective at detecting a pregnancy.
