Our hormones -- estrogen, progesterone, testosterone and others -- perform a dance with each other over the course of the month. They increase and decrease depending where you are in the month, causing your uterus to build up tissue in case an egg is fertilized, then causing you to ovulate, then causing your body to expel that extra tissue if no egg implants, which causes your period. So if things happened back in December that affected those hormones (like your work and fatigue), the whole "dance" could easily have been delayed. Or you may not even have ovulated.
From how you describe your use of the condoms, you should have been protected. Do you think that taking a home pregnancy test would help relieve the anxiety?
