Hi, Anon, and thanks so much for your question. I know you are worried and we'll see if we can help a little.

In order to put dates on a calendar, I got a little confused. You say "last March" in your question but "2-18" in your title so do you really mean "last February?" That seems to be what you are saying.

I'll go on the assumption that the dates you are writing about happened in February. Please let me know if that's wrong.

If you had a period that ended February 21, and if your cycles are 28 days long, you would have been ovulating somewhere between March 5 to March 12th. Did you have unprotected sex during that time? Do you remember?

If so, it's possible you are pregnant, but truly, any pregnancy test on the market should show a positive result if you are 10 days late. When did you take the pregnancy test? Were you careful to follow the instructions?

If you are pregnant, are you okay with it? Do you need help in finding information or a doctor?

If you are not pregnant, I urge you to consider making an appointment to see a doctor and get on birth control. Do you feel that you can do this on your own? If you need help finding a clinic or some information on this, please let us know what city you live in, and we perhaps can point you to some resources.

At the very least, promise yourself that from now on, you will buy and use condoms. Don't just expect your boyfriend to do it -- condoms protect your body, and that's something you need to take responsibility for. Having unprotected sex for months without a pregnancy occuring in young, healthy people is rare. And even if you are on birth control, that doesn't protect you from getting STDs (sexually transmitted diseases); condoms help in this area as well.

And no more calling yourself stupid. People make mistakes. Take care, and let us know what happens.
