I agree with the above responses, and wanted to let you know something interesting (and surprising!?) I found out when we were trying to conceive. Each cycle, a woman has about a 20% chance of getting pregnant. That's it! I had always thought, "I'm having unprotected sex, and off birth control...so I'll automatically be pregnant".
I was surprised that it doesn't necessarily happen that easily, and after learning that the chances of becoming pregnant are (only) 20% each cycle, it makes more sense.
