If you have a menstrual period that lasts for 4 days, even if it is different length of time than your "usual", this would still count as a menstrual period. Menstrual bleeding can be different colors as well, from brown to red to pink.

It is most likely not a miscarriage, as if you had sex only 10 days before your expected period, you technically were not pregnant yet (it takes 10-24 days for the process...from ovulation to fertilization to implantation, as it takes a while for the egg to travel and implant). A viable pregnancy is one where a fertilized egg implants itself into the uterus, and the bleeding you experienced at the time of your period sounds like a menstrual period. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding the dates you provided.

Any pregnancy test that you take, at the time of your period, would be about 99% accurate at detecting any pregnancy hormone. You can always re-test a week later, if you want to confirm the results.
