Dear original poster, I am updating you on how my cloposcopy went. I am so happy to say that the results came back with NO dysplasia. I ended up having to go through a closposcopy & the doc scraped a biopsy sample as well since she saw a small white spot. It was somewhat painful, but bearable. I had minor spotting for a couple of days. But today I got the results back & I am grateful to know I am fine.
I have to get another pap smear in 6 months & I guess the frequency of pap's will be more now, just to keep closer tab on my cervical health, given that I am HPV positive now.
