Did you doctor advice you of the possible side effects after surgery? Did he start you on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)? Your body may be adjusting to the changes in your hormonal cycle and you may need to ask your doctor to check those levels soon before you start an HRT protocol. Heart palpitations can be linked to hormonal changes but sometimes low levels of magnesium or potassium or even calcium can be the cause. Make sure you doctor also tests you for levels of these three essential minerals that keep the heart healthy.
