Hi ms20,

Let me confirm the relevant parts of your question, as some of the information may not be needed.

Your last menstrual period began on March 24th, and you have a regular 28-day cycle.

You had unprotected sex on March 29, April 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11.

Is that correct?

The "textbook" day that women (who are a perfect regular 28-day cycle) ovulate is "day 14". Even the "perfect regular 28-day cycle" woman can ovulate on days before or after day 14.

Day 14 is calculated this way: "Day 1" is the first day of your period, so that was March 24th. Your "day 14" was April 6th, when you may have ovulated. You think you ovulated on "day 12", which was April 4th, which is also likely.

Your most fertile days are around the time you ovulate, and are usually said to be between "Days 10-17" of your cycle. However, there is a chance of pregnancy beyond this window with unprotected sex.

Since you had unprotected sex on 3 of your most fertile days, and also knowing that sperm can live about 3 days in the vagina, then you do have a good chance of being pregnant.

You are expecting your next period to occur tomorrow (April 24th). Home pregnancy tests are 99% accurate at detecting the pregnancy hormone, around the time of a missed period. Are you planning to take a test in the next few days, if your period does not start?

Are you trying to get pregnant? If you are pregnant, how do you feel about this?

If you are not pregnant, have you or your partner considered using birth control, if you are not wanting to be pregnant?

If you have unprotected sex during a fertile time, you can get emergency contraception if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex, which is available without prescription (I think you have to be 18 years of age, but I could be wrong).

How are you feeling, after hearing this information?
