Thank you for the information! You are right, in some cases when the woman has a known miscarriage, she will need to be treated by a procedure (such as the D&C), to ensure all of the tissue has been removed. Brown spottiing can be normal for women, but if it is consistent, painful or has any odor...this needs to be medically evaluated.
I hope women will know that anytime discharge has an odor, regardless of color, it does need to be medically evaluated.
Jordan, you mentioned that you've done a lot of research, and I'm wondering if you have seen your GYN about your symptoms?
