I can't believe i'm not the only one! I have had brown spotting for about five years now. I had been on birth control for a couple of years before the spotting began so I assumed that the birth control couldn't have caused it. Its the same thing for me, I have my period followed by a week of regular discharge and then the spotting begins and continues until my next period. I have had different tests but they all come out fine. A few doctors have also told me that I have low progesterone and prescribed a yam cream. I was also told to try going off the pill and I have been off it for a couple years but it doesn't seem to make a difference. After awhile you just kind of want to give up because it seems like the doctors don't really care or they have no clue. Some doctors say just not to worry about it but it is so frustrating to be spotting all the time. I'm 22 years old and am desperately hoping for their to be a definite solution.
