All of these comments are SO helpful. I have 3 beautiful children. I was on the mini pill after my first but got pregnant with twins when my daughter was only 3 months old. The mini pill does not work for me...So, I have been on Mirena since my twins were born 2 1/2 years ago. My sex drive slowly dwindled and is completely gone now. It is hurting my relationship with my husband. I know it is hurting him and I didn't know why I had no desire at all. Like a lot of women on here I too don't want to be touched at all, have horrible mood swings am exhausted and always feel bloated. I thought it was because I have 3 toddlers and am super busy and stressed....But now I'm not so sure stress is the only factor. I think I am going to get my Mirena taken out. It's just not worth risking my relationship with my husband who is my best friend and who I Love with all my heart. I hate seeing how much this hurts him and hate feeling like this. What are some good alternative Birth Control I can use that don't cause mood swings and are reliable...while I love my 3 beautiful babies...I don't want anymore. ;)
