I have the mirena and have had no real side effects....sans a very pathetic want/need to have sex. I mean...it's there...I even dream about it...but I would rather watch t.v. when it comes down to having to go through with it. This has been extremely destructive to my relationship...so much that my fiance has talked about taking SSRI's to lower his libido. Before the mirena, even when I was pregnant I LOVED SEX. I have decided after reading your comments that my 2 year dry spell is over. I am going back to condoms!
