Dear Anon, thank you for your question. It seems like you have a pretty good idea what triggers this episodes. This awareness is a very good first step at dealing with any anxiety problem. If you can anticipate the event or situation, you may want to try deep breathing exercises right before or during the event. Self talk also works and allows you to practice mindfulness and observe yourself at that moment.

Dry mouth and twitches are common symptoms of anxiety related conditions and there are ways to reduce the physiological symptoms with supplements that can help relax your muscles. Magnesium supplements and certain herbs can help.
