Dear LynnMarie, what a great question! I have been in health care for over 22 years and know that our allopathic model of care has fragmented the healing process to specific body parts. All separate, all in isolation. This approach to healing has proven NOT to work and as a result we continue to get sicker and sicker. The "find it and fix it" model of care no longer works. Diagnostic technology is just a very small aspect that helps doctor justify a diagnosis, but does not give us the root cause of the condition or illness. A holistic approach to healing has become an imperative in our model of care. We will see many changes in the near future.

You are on the right track and I think many more Americans will learn that healing is a built-in ability in our bodies. Drug companies have an invested interest in keeping the current model which has proven to be just a band-aid solution. Each one of us holds the key to our own healing. There are many lifestyle changes that are free and if more Americans took responsibility in this process, we would save our country from the high cost of caring for chronic diseases that are mostly preventable and can be reversed.
