Hi,
Bit of background: I'm 37 with one child (9) & had been having regular 28 cycles up to 2/3 yrs ago. They got out of whack, bleeding heavily for 2 wks every mth from a pill so I took myself off it & it regulated itself for around 6 mths. Since then my cycle has changed & become different ; now I always have spotting/very light brown only using a panty liner for 2/3 days then full 5-7 day period, 1St day being heavy with some clots, cramping the rest normal red blood tailing off on the last day.
I flew over to see my boyfriend Mar 30th- Apr 3Rd. We'd been sexually active all those days using the pull out method (I'm.not on bc). Around maybe 5 days later I had spotting but only when I wiped, thought it might be the start of my period but 2 weeks too early! This only lasted a day. then Apr 13/14 I started spotting & light brown, only needing a panty liner for 7 days, which is much longer than usual. Thought I might be pregnant but on Apr 21st I had a really heavy, painful bleed with clots, I was in so much pain I had to go to bed, was really nauseous & weak, thought I was going to pass out.. I continued to bleed for 5 days, didn't test as I assumed it was my period.
Then this month I got no spotting/light brown what I call pre bleed, I just started bleeding on the 18th & on the evening of the 19th whilst I was in work I bleed through a tampon after an hour, so bad is was rushing out of me with lots of stringy clots, soaking through my knickers & jeans ( sorry tmi!) I rushed home, changed to a pad & went to bed. When I woke the pad was empty & stayed like that all day. So I've had nothing since that heavy bleed on Fri night, it was like it suddenly disappeared, but now this evening (Sun) it seems to have come back to a proper bleed!
I assume I'm not pregnant with all the bleeding, had been peeing more & a little weight gain & bloating. could it be miscarriage? Any ideas?
